Ken Burns effect and nudging
Hi there, I have two questions I’m hoping someone can help me with.
1. Ken Burns – I’d like to cut to an clip that’s already zooming in or panning so that it doesn’t just start on the edit In FCP 7, you could always drag the first keyframe before the start of the clip. How do you do this in FCP X?
2. Nudging a clip 1 frame or 5 frames on the timeline. Is there a key stroke combination that will allow me to do this?

Are you using the Ken Burns mode? If so, right click on the “plus signs” and choose “linear” from the drop down.

comma and period. Shift-comma, Shift-period. But it’s not 5 frames, it’s 10 frames.

Same thing. Right click the key frame in the viewer and choose linear.
