when i capture (dvx 24p-not advanced) some of the clips lose sync by several frames-sometimes a second or two. i believe all my settings are correct and i have been breaking up the captures into no more than 20 minute segments (if i capture an hour tape, i’ll set markers at 20 min, 40 min and 60 min, then batch capture.) is there a way to ensure perfect sync? i plan on loading a hundred or so hours and this problem is severely impeding the process. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Look on your FCP install disk in the extras folder. There’s a folder marked DVX100 Audio sync tool. Install and sync away.
