keep text formating while adding substr() expression.
Hi,
I have a pretty simple text layer with a color on few alphabets. Now as soon as I am using substr() expression on it, it loses all of its formattings. Is there any way to apply substr() without losing color?

You will likely want two or three text layers, one with your substring expression on it and the other(s) with a position expression to keep the texts together as if they were in the same text box.
