  • Keep getting an unknown error when trying to render

    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to render a short video. I have a clip I animated in After Effects, and it seems every time the rendering gets to that portion it says there is an unknown error in compiling the footage. I can preview the video with no issues in premiere, but have tried rendering in several different formats with no luck. I really need to get this finished for work, and was hoping for any help!

    Thanks

try exporting out as uncompressed or prores if you have the option.

I ran into that once in awhile with h,264 but an uncompressed export worked.

reboot the machine first before you do.

It did render uncompressed…but the file is HUGE and is very low resolution. I’ve tried rendering in .wmv and it fails as well.
