Keep Final Cut playing while using other applications
Hi,
When I have a clip playing in FCP it stops when I go to use another application, such as browsing the internet.
It would also be useful for typing up what people are saying in interviews.
I would like to keep the clip playing while I do other things. Is there a way to do this?

You can do this in the QuickTime player but not within FCP I’m afraid. If you use the open in editor function on the clip you want, that should launch QT from inside FCP. You can play the interview and type in Pages for instance.
