K-Box Connection?
I can not find any specifics on Aja’s website, but anyone out there who owns the K-Box for the Kona 2 can easily answer this question.
How does the Kona card connect to the optional K-Box? Is it 2 cables? How long are the cables connecting to the K-Box?
I have a rack with several decks mounted in it and I’d like to keep as few as possible cables running out of the G5. I also have to make sure that the cables will reach.
They only show one side of this box in all of Aja’s pictures. I can’t figure out how this sucker connects.

it comes with two 6′ long cables in the k-box identical to the back of the card. you need to keep them both plugged in, but they are tightly grouped on the back of the k-box as they are on the card, so there should not be any clutter issue…you can easily keep them bundled together with plastic fasteners or whatever.
