    HELP!!

I have the JVC HM700U and am about to film a video deposition. I need the current time and date playing throughout the video. I cant find a setting to display the time and date during recording! and I am really stuck trying to find 3rd party apps or plugins to achieve this. I am editing on a mac, and i have the following programs to try and achieve this on; Adobe after effects, premiere, FCP, Motion, and imovie. Please let me know if there is just a setting on the camera to save me time, or if there is a good 3rd party app or plugin.

    Thanks!!

I don’t know if this helps, but you can set the on-screen display to also display through the composite and SDI outputs on the camera. Obviously, this would require an external recorder of some sort.

Record running timecode (time of day) and when you edit turn on the timecode window in FCP.

I don’t think that actually stamps the timecode on the video.

Apply TC reader filter that is located in EFFECTS Bin. Make DVD or VHS dub.

    PS
Make SURE you get the TC READER and NOT TC Generator!
