  • JVC HD100U question about utilizing both audio channels with sep. inputs

Posted by John Fowler on July 26, 2009 at 6:44 pm

    Hello everyone,

I was recently shooting a friend’s rock show and I wanted to use both my on-board mic on my JVC HD100U and tap into a live feed via an XLR from the sound board. I hooked both in but it seemed as if it wouldn’t let me select both channels simultaneously so that audio 1 is the on-board and audio 2 is the live feed. I selected ‘line’ for the live feed and mic+48v for the on board but had the switch on audio 1, which was the on board mic.

My question is this: is there a way to record from two separate inputs on each audio channel?
