I am having trouble importing from JVC HD-100u. It seems the capture controls do not work like when working with dv. It won’t allow scene detect command. I did try Cineform plug in and it did help but scene detect feature still didn’t work and it did controll like dv i am used to. I have worked with dv footage and always was successful. Could anybody point us in the right directions please. I also have cu-vh1u jvc hd deck that it doesn’t recognize in presets either, so I tried capturing from hd100u and same thing. I bought the deck thinking i would use it like dv deck in past so i would put wear and tear on new camera I bought(100U). . I am using a Centrino Duo 2 Ghz dual processor with two gigs ram and win xp pro. NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics card with 256 memory. Its a Toshiba P105-S9722 with 7200rpm primary. Please.. any links or experience with the workflow on the JVC hd100u in HD formats would be greatly would be greatly appreciated

Hi i just did a feature with the JVC Hd 100 and used the Cineform Prospect HD plug in. I captured all my footage with the batch capture option using time code and it worked fine. have you tried that?
