JVC GY-HM700 Pixel Compensation Error
For a bout 10 years, I have been using the procedure (previously posted here) to compensate for dead pixels, with good success (GY-HM700 bought in 2011). A couple of years ago, I got the error “PIXEL COMPEN ERROR – COUNT OVER”. I couldn’t get around it, so I sent the camera in for service. They replaced the optical block for a cost of $2k. Pixel compensation worked fine after that, until about a year later. Problem returned. I again sent it in, same repair, higher cost (inflation). About 4 months later, it has returned for the third time (repair warranty was 3 months). I don’t want to have to keep sending it in with higher frenquency. Does anyone know of a work through to fix the pixels?
