I have a JVC GY-HD111 and bought a couple of Globalmediapro.com DC488 batteries. They are great in terms of the battery life but the problem I am having is that when the battery is on the camera, if the battery is pushed from the bottom, it seems to lose contact with the camera and turns the power off.
Does anyone else have these batteries and have this issue?

I have the same issue using a HM-700 with IDX batteries. When shooting events and bands I will often shoot from the midriff, but the slightest jolt at the back of the camera and the batteries pop up and all power is lost, and to make matters worse I then have a media card error. Apart from being extremely careful and holding the camera away from my body (which loses the cushioning effect and is something of a starin) I have so far not come up with a solution. This was not an issue on my previous (SD) camera the DV-5000 maybe I should try swapping the IDX mounting plate?
