    Just upgradet AVID from 6.5 to 7.0 but still shows 6.5

    Hi everyone,

    I’m in deep sheet here.

    I just upgradet my AVID Dongle from 6.5 to 7.0, which I need SO bad for a screening in one hour!!
    Avid still shows up as v. 6.5. What the hell is wrong with it??
    I followed all the steps correctly in this toturial:

    PLEASE HELP ME, IT’S ALMOST A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH!

    Did you download Media Composer 7 and install it (after you uninstall 6.5)?

    The dongle update just blesses your dongle to run version 7 – it doesn’t actually install it.

    And a v7 dongle will allow a v6.5 to run.
