Just upgraded to FCP 5.1 – no video playback
Show Current Frame works (just shows a still)
Show All Frames does not
Video Black goes to output monitorOSX 10.4.6
FCP 5.1
BM driver 5.6
QT 7.1
Using BM NTSC 8-bit easy setupIf I boot into 10.3.8 off of my other HD and run FCP 4.5, everything’s fine.
I haven’t been able to find this particular problem

Please try removing existing drivers using the “Uninstall Blackmagic” application, then re-install the drivers again.

Here’s what I did:
Upgrade to Tiger
Upgrade to FCP 5.1
Download BM 5.6 driver
Uninstall Bm drivers
Install new BM driver
—–
Unable to get video output
Booted to previous version – worked as expected
—–
Contact BM
Post on Cow
—–
Uninstall BM driver as advised
Reinstall BM driver as advised—–
No joy
—–
Upgrade to FCP 5.1.1
Unistall BM driver
Reinstall BM driver
——No joy

Ok, what kind of “upgrade’ to Tiger did you do?
Have you done a clean install of Tiger instead of an upgrade install?
