Just purchased FCS2, overwhelmed!
Hello all, long time FCP user. I just purchased FCS2, and now I am overwhelmed. The daunting task of learning all of these programs is too much. LOL. Color is the one am most terrified of.
In FCP, I am already findiing that some settings and such are different, like p2 import. Is there a good reference for settings and such like Ken Stone did with the earlier versions of FCP?
Also. What are your recomendations for DVD learning material?

Also. What are your recomendations for DVD learning material?”As soon as it gets into replication, I have a DVD coming out for Color as part of the Creative Cow Master Series that will put you very much at ease with that application.

For the most part everything stayed the same, except for that nifty Log and Transfer setting now for P2.
What types of things have you stumped? Why don’t you put a list together here and we’ll help you find where things have moved to. Heck, that’s what we do!
Oh, and have you tried the Search Posts function yet? I know when Studio 2 first came out there were a LOT of “where did this go?” type of posts. Some of those just might contain the answers you’re looking for.

For online training I like lynda.com. They have some really thorough FCP training videos there, although I haven’t watched any of the new FCS2 titles yet.
