just got a brand new hvx200
…and wouldn’t you know it, nobody will sell me a stupid p2 card. Apparently there is a p2 card drought in LA. Wish I had known before I bought this thing from a vendor that was out of stock…
After a long and torturous tour of the city of LA, I have now given up. My p2 fate lies with the herd. Does anybody know of a place in LA that might have an 8gb p2 card in stock? I’d really, really like to see this camera in action.
Boy, I could sure post a funny rant right now! I feel like somebody HVX’d me in the 200.

If you are just test, you may want to just rent a card for a week. I sure 16GB cards are going to be released and they will probably be the same price as the 8. I now that doesn’t help you now.
cameras seem to be is short supply also.

Way to go Panasonic. Not one single store listed on the Panny website carries any p2 cards in stock. B&H photo is out, Promax is backordered, Studio Exchange (the guys that sold me this camera) is out, Samy’s in Venice won’t sell it without buying the camera, every shop I hit in Burbank was out.
I don’t know where else to call.
This is so not cool.
