Just Curious…
Posted by Jason Mccaffrey on September 23, 2005 at 2:17 pmWhy does having the caps lock on disable rendering in FCP? Does this function come in handy ever?

For instance I’m working on a piece right now with 27 video tracks and a ton of filters, so hitting Caps Lock makes it easier to scrub through the timeline to find a specific spot. This is the same function that After Effects has.

September 23, 2005 at 2:25 pmOh, that makes sense. I haven’t composited more than 6 or 7 tracks yet, so that hasn’t really come up. Thanks for the quick response.
