    Hello,

I just bought a 32 gb compact flash card.
Here are the details on the card:

    32gb
    CF 500x
    UDMA 6
    Read: 75mb/s
    Write: 40mb/s

And it is a Delkin Devices card.

I want to know if this card is good enough to shoot 1080p hd footage on my canon 7D. Really if it’s good for shooting film at all. I hope so since I already have it….

    Thank you

Shoot a test. You’ll soon find your answer.

I did a little but I am on my work computer right now and play back is never very good on it. That is one reason I’m asking because it is hard to tell with where I am right now.

So if anyone has used one and knows that would be helpful.

Well is the footage skipping because of the card or do you have a slow computer? You might also try copying the footage from the card to a local hard drive.

The card seems to be working just fine. It skips on my computer because it is an old computer and I don’t think it can handle the HD footage for playback. I was able to find another computer before my shoot and test it.

Look for the class 10 or better rating.

Thank you for the reply. The card is working fine.

Mark Suszko that is generally what I look for, however, this card did not have anything about what class it was on it or the packaging. Only the information I gave in my first post. But thank you for the input.
