I was wondering since Adobe will not be making AE Intel duo compliant till 2007, would it make sense, for those of us that need to use AE as fast as we can on a laptop, ask Adobe to give us a disk or a download for registered users of AE on the Mac the Windows xp version that would be tied to the specific MBP that we own?
We could then run AE either in XP a la boot camp or in a window a la Parallels solution.
I’m not asking for a free license for an XP version just a license for the the registered Mac user that needs to use AE on a laptop as fast as possible. Adobe could use the Ethernet Address info of the specific MBP to ensure the validity of the registered owner.
And this will of course would expire when Adobe releases AE for Mac Intel Duo.

    What do you think?
I’m just trying to find a way to justify my next purchase :0)

Well not much work at all… Adobe already today validates your licens when you install AE7 on your Mac or PC so this wouldn’t really mean a big thing at all for Adobe more than the cost of bandwidth or extra CD/DVD dublicates. Perhaps one could even buy these for 29 or 49 dollars or what ever they cost to produce.

Then for Adobe to do this is another cup of tea. But it really shouldn’t be to much work for them.
