Pls Help just a few questions about this special effects
Hello sir and everyone at the CreativeCow forums I just wanna ask some few questions about the AE effects that’s used on this video Disturbance – The Trailer (Dota) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nby-jeDwtwc
My first question is:
1. What is that Colored Worm Effect at the beginning of the video?
2. At the 1:49 how did he do that? Did he duplicate or did he used an effect?
3. At the 1:59 how did he do that globe effect and the fast reveal of other squares at the bottom?
4. Lastly at 2:01 the square globe shattered how did he do that? Is that a shattered effect?Pls help needed that effects at my school project thank you =)

1.At the beginning- Trapcode Particular. Here’s a tutorial that can help with that effect:

2. There’s a bunch of things going on- the “wall” of stills can just be a file created in PSD or layers in AE parented to a Null. You also get some particles- probably particular- to get the floating specs.

3. CC Sphere textured with a layer with a grid of rectangles and an animated mask that reveals the bottom.
4. A ripple effect followed by particles (Particular will do )Tudor “Ted” Jelescu
