April 21, 2006 at 6:46 pmYes. but check to see how it is formatted. The 1GB I bought was formatted FAT16, which, among other shortcomings, has a limit of 512 files, period. Format the drive FAT32 and you will be able to use it on both Mac and PC.

Mac OS X will read and write to FAT 16 and FAT 32, and can only read from, but not write to NTFS volumes. It would be best to format it on the Windows PC, doing a full (not quick) format.
