I have a brick building (among other images) that I’m slowly zooming in on in After Effects. When I render the movie I’m getting “jumping, jittering” in the bricks of the building. I’ve tried various codec options but I think I’m missing something. This may be a newbie quistion, not sure. Does frame blending have anything to do with this? Just a note, this is a JPG not video.
Any help would be appreciated.

i think this might help.
when the video/picture is being displayed, the detail of the brick gets “caught” between fields (video is 2 interlace fields per frame). in order to “free” itself it jumps from one field to the next, this creates that jumping effect, which i find quite annoying too. you may find that, for sh*ts and giggles, if you scale the bricks so they are larger that the jumping goes away, the detail no longer gets caught between fields because its large enough to fit. you might also try the de-interlace filter, i think this filter applies a small amount of blur so that the detail is reduced enough so that does not get caught in between fields. hope this helps.
