    Hello everyone,

How come when I put jpg’s into my DV sequence that look jagged and blurred, even after I render? Goes it have something to do with pixel shapes? How can I overcome this?

    Thanks.

Firstly you need to judge the image on an external monitor.

Secondly DV codec is not kind on graphics and stills due to the codec compression. I suggest your final sequence be copied into an uncompressed timeline for final render. This will make your graphics & stills look better.

Search on here for still image quality questions to understand why what you see on your canvas and on your external video output are two different things here.
