Jpegs in FCPS2
Posted by Marshall Thompson on March 29, 2011 at 9:04 pmWhen JPEGs on the timeline are not playing – just sitting there – they are sharp. Play the timeline and they get fuzzy. How to fix that?
Mac Pro 8-core Summer 2010, 16 GB ram, FCP 7.0.3, MAC OS 10.6.7Thanks!

That’s normal. You know the bright green bar in the timeline – that’s real time Preview, it’s not the full quality. FCP is doing ‘magic’ to play back the still. When you export, it’ll be the quality of when you’re paused.
