    Hey all –I have some stills that are JPEG-in AE when i go to move these in z space –I get the stair step thing on the edges of the pics -why does this happen and how can i fix it ?–any suggestions with best pic file formats – best suited for AE would help alot

    Stair steps?
    Maybe you’re talking about the aliasing effect on the edges.

    You don’t tell us if you have a previsualization problem or if it also shows in the rendered movie.
    I guess you’re having a visualization problem, so check your preview mode, it could be in draft mode. Set it to best or something like that (AE 6.5 is set to best by default but AE 6.0 does not)
