    Hi,
I have a very frustrating issue with the JPEG sequence, which I cannot understand. Tried to google around, but found nothing, so here goes:
I’m trying to JPEG sequence a video file with CS4 – I sampled it from my sony mini-dv camera, as a regular avi files, same as I always do for the past 10 years…
I put it as a new comp, then Compostition->add to render que, and then click on output module, choose JPEG sequence, and hit render.
So far so good, the weird thing is, that after about a second or so, suddenly all the JPEGs come out as blank, with all the colors (I dunno what’s called, so I uploaded an image). This goes like that for the whole scene, and I can’t do nothing…
I tried to change the Image options of the JPEG, but nothing!
About 20-30 frames turn out fine, the rest are like the one I uploaded.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    Roy

That is a placeholder that after effects uses when it can’t find an image anymore.

It looks like AE can’t find your .avi file, and put that placeholder there and that’s what you’re rendering into jpegs.

do you have multiprocessing enabled ? try to disable it.
