I’m having some random occurances of photoshop does not recognize this type of file.
I flatten the image and save as a jpeg then open in PS and it does not recognize this type of file.
The PS file opens fine. I can resave it as a jpeg and it works.
I’ve been sending files to my client and some of them are corrupt.

Any one have a fix for this? Have you seen it before?

    OSX 10.5.5
CS2 version 10.0.01 running in Rosetta

Is the person opening your files on the PC??? If so you want to make sure the .jpg is at the end of the file name on the mac.

If you are using stuffit, there is a problem with .sitx files that corrupts them, so we use .sit instead.
