Does anyone know of a way to use 3DConnexion’s space mouse with After Effects for the camera orbit tool.

In my previous job I had C4D Studio and used the space mouse constantly. Since switching careers, AE is just a hobby now and while I have access to C4D-Lite, it doesn’t support the space mouse. I also have Element 3D and prefer its results to C4D, but I do find moving around in AE 3D space awkward.

In my head, being able to link the space mouse to the camera orbit’s tool would be ideal, but that’s not possible, doing the same with a joystick would be pretty cool too. Does anyone know of any scripts, homebrew plugins etc.. that can link a device to a camera’s orbit controls?
