Outstanding – if Conan’s editors like, it must be Insanely Great…no wait, that’s Apple’s line….maybe for FCPX they just removed Great and the ly from the slogan?

Well, mainly the video is funny. I can’t comment much on CS6, but there are still features that Adobe is lacking to make it as usable as FCP 7 was. But it’s getting there. Adobe is making strides in the right direction.

Videos showcasing who is using what NLE for what project is good marketing. I have yet to see one for FCX, other than projects that people here show and say “look what I did with FCX!”

Someone needs to do this for FCX…

[Shane Ross] “Well, looks like the Conan show editors are liking Adobe CS6…”

That’s a hoot! Thanks for posting.

Aparently, like their FC-X video, this was done on their own, though I would guess they needed pernission to flash a little bit of the new screen interface.

    They’ve definitely got my attention.

Adobe’s had about 8 months to listen to the FCP professional community and capitalize on a once in a program opportunity to move an entire market segment over night.

If they hit it out of the park, and I hope they do, I’ll be an immediate adopter. We already have a few Creative suites and I’d immediately upgrade to the broader suites.

Real audio mixing, real tracks, 64 bit, .h264 playable…show me more.

My question to Shane is, how do you know it’s lacking in some of the FCP7 features when it hasn’t been released yet?.

    Well said, fingers crossed.

I thought Shane was referring to the current version, not CS6. Unless there’s something he’s not telling us. 😉
