[Job offer – UK] Multilingual Digital and Desktop Publishing
An opportunity to learn and develop desktop publishing skills in our fast-paced team
Imprimatur is a well-established language services company, where individual talent matters above all else. We provide language translation services to clients globally in the automotive industry from our offices in UK and Germany. Due to strong growth, we are expanding our team.
Key responsibilities include:
· Preparation of documents to send for translation – this includes ensuring documents are suitable for our translation software and improving the basic structure of documents to streamline the translation process.
· Publishing of translated files – we ensure all our documents have a high-quality finish that matches or improves upon the source publication.
Specific skills required include:
· Organised, with the ability to prioritise your workload
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Confident and proficient with computer technologies and an aptitude to learn new software
· Able to cope with a busy working environment and concentrate under pressure
· Able to work on your own initiative and follow jobs through
· Attention to detail and ability to meet exacting standards
· Good communication skills and professional manner
· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) an advantage
· Willingness to learn new technology
· Always looking for new ways to improve processes and lower costs.
A graduate level education is preferable, but not essential. English to native standard is mandatory. Knowledge of a second language – preferably German – would be a distinct advantage. You will be required to take practical tests to assess your aptitude and computer literacy level at interview stage.

Because of Covid, we are working from home full-time, so you will be required to have a suitable workspace at home. You will continue to be home-based but may be required to take regular trips to one of our offices.
