  • Jittery Video With A Timebase Of 25

Posted by Patrick Morrow on February 15, 2012 at 9:35 pm

A completed wedding just still does not look right. It says the timebase is 25 and has the following

    HD 1440 x 1080
    Quicktime:
    DVC Pro HD 1080i 50
    Lower Field Dominance

Can anyone help me get good stable non-jittery video out of this mess?
    THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

no 1 hit for errors in video: wrong field dominanz!

    1. HD1440x108 = upper first
    2. DVC PRO HD = upper first

    by spec

so why you´ve chosen DVC PRO HD as lower field first, as it is upper first?

    cheers

Oh and Toast Titanium says my video is in PAL, could that be right?

Your video IS in PAL. 1080i50…1080p25…720p25…that’s PAL. PAL is 25fps. NTSC is 30fps.

BACK to NTSC? It wasn’t NTSC to begin with. It is PAL. Your footage is all PAL.
