I have created a motion menu for Encore 1.5 using After Effects. A series of still images scaled down to about 40% scroll across the screen from right to left like a conveyer belt. The problem is that they are very very jittery once I burn them to DVD. Oddly enough, If I import the After Effects Comp into Premier Pro and render it, it looks great on the monitor. It only looks bad on the monitor after it has been burned to DVD. Any ideas?

When you say it looks fine on the monitor, do you mean an NTSC monitor or your computer screen? If your animation contains sharp and contrasting lines, it’s very possible for it to jitter. Search the AfterEffects forum for some ways to reduce the jitter.

Also, it could be the way the animation was encoded into mpg. I always use Cleaner to do the encoding for DVDs because I’ve found that it does a much better job than the Encore internal encoder.

I mean it looks good on an NTSC monitor before I burn it to a DVD.
