I’m trying to animate an object along a spline using align to spline along with a motion tracked camera.

here is the project file example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30985024/cube-along-spline.c4d

the cube has this jittery movement, presumably from the keyframe count in the motion tracked camera, but I don’t know how to fix it! I saw a post here while searching to use uniform amounts on the spline and to use a mospline, but I can’t get it to work.

What can I do? If nothing can be done, is there a way to “unbake” the camera position to alleviate this?
    Thanks!

It looks like the camera, not the cube, has the jerky movement. Or else it’s a disparity between the camera and cube. In any case, create a new camera, make it a child of the cube, and set that camera as the render view to smooth it out.

Thanks for the suggestion. The motion tracked camera was sped up like 500% first and then tracked. This is suppose to be composited into a shot as a vfx shot, so in order to match the plate the camera needs to stay the way that it is. Although technically, it could be motion tracked at 100% regular speed, but then the question becomes, how do I speed it up after the fact in c4d so the timeframe is correct? (and so it doesn’t have to render all the frames.
