I am trying to capture from a Sony HDR-FX1 using CS3. When I do this, the image seems to be coming through Premiere Pro slower than what is playing from the camera (almost like the monitor is echoing what the camera display is showing).

I even tried just playing normal (without recording) and it still has a delay in Premiere. This was happening to me in AVID as well. The result is a jittery, over all bad capture! Has this problem happened to anyone else? How do I fix it?

If you are watching the cam monitor as you capture, it’s normal to see a slight delay in your capture window. As far as the jitter, I’m unsure.
