  Jittery footage in project window HD&SD

  I’m using PPro Cs4 with my nice new computer (specs below) and the HD or SD video plays jittery and stroby in the Program window (like it might be jumping a few frames ahead every few seconds), it looks and plays perfect in the Source window but the window that needs to be reliable is the program window of course. Plays fine in After Effects and Windows Media Player so I know it’s not my video card.

  I have my Program window settings set to “Highest Quality” but it jitters with Draft and Auto too. Any ideas how to fix this???

  (My older Vista computer DID NOT have this problem)
  System:
  Pentium 2.6G dual core, 4G ram
  Windows Vista.
