Jittery edges around text
I have a problem using text in both Zaxwerks invigorator (v. 4.5.1) and ProAnimator (v. 4.5.1).
Whenever I create a 3d text in either plugin and make it move ever so slightly, ugly jittery edges appear to be running around the outline of the text.
I have tried bumping up the anti-aliasing settings but to no avail. I have tried rendering out to different codecs, both interlaced and progressive, same thing.
This only happens when the text is moving which leads me to think it has something to do with sub pixel positioning that isn’t being handled correctly?Unfortunately this issue is too subtle to become visible on a windows media or quicktime file suitable for upload.
Please tell me someone else has had this problem and know how to fix it!

Hi Peter.
We’ve seen subpixel artifacts when an object or when the camera is moving very slowly.
There isn’t much of a solution at this point.A few non-ideal things to try:
– If you don’t need or can’t see the sides/back faces of your objects, turn them off – this may alleviate some of the problem.
– Render much larger than necessary and then scale down the final movie in an editor.
– Make the movements more dramatic to lessen the visual artifactLet us know if you still have questions.
