Jitters when Converting Final cut project to quick time
I cant make an hdv 24 p project convert to a quicktime
or dv stream without getting a few jittery frames
it seems to happen in the same spot everytime no matter which
conversion setting I create. open to suggestions.
Ive converted far more complex projects easilly, why is this so tough? it is an hour long project where the last project was 18 minutes long.Mabey that would make a difference. -

Export to quicktime,ive tried all kinds of settings
such as fast , medium and slow streaming settings
dv stream, 16×924 frames ps
im just trying to create a small project that works without the jitter at this point, I would like to create ideally an emailable file.

Try Compressor.
Video is big I never recommend emailing it, because you do not know if the other persons email can handle a file that bit, better to post it online and email a link.

I will post on brightcove, what do you recomend I use as format to post to that?

from compressor for client review I like the web download H.264 800kbps preset. file size is approx. 295.31 MB/hour and maintains full frame rate. If full frame rate isn’t a concern and dropping down to 15 frames a second is OK, the H.264 300kbps preset is nice at approx. 96.68 MB/hour. I’d stay away from this though if you have a lot of flashy cuts and fast transitions.

export using compressor, once in compressor, navigate through the presets.. off the top of my head i thinks its…. apple -> other workflows -> web -> download -> voila!
