I have some jpegs (about 2mb in size) which have text in them – basically they are graphics from a book.

With project settings at either HDV 720-25p (1280×720, 25.000 fps) or PAL DV Widescreen (720×576, 25.000 fps) and rendering at DVD Architect PAL Widescreen video stream ( 25 fps, 720×576) – all unaltered, the text contained in the jpegs jitters unacceptably in the output.

What please am I doing wrong in Vegas 8?
    Thanks

Do you select REDUCE INTERLACE FLICKER? Or use a tiny little bit of gaussian blur.

Which font did you use? Did you use a sans serif font?

Thank you. Gaussian blur .001 is all that was necessary. The font is embedded in the jpg – but w/out gaussian, any font jumps around. Seems like a simple thing for Vegas to fix rather than forcing us to blur and otherwise crisp picture. Thanks again.
