    Hi,

I’m having troubles with a simple movement. I have an illustrator file that I’m just trying to move across the screen in about 3 seconds. It’s literally a very simple move, just moving the x-position. I have turned on the vectorize (even though it’s actually scaled smaller, so it’s not necessary), but I’m still having troubles. Basically what happens is the graphic looks like it’s jittering as it moves across the screen.

It’s an animation and I don’t want to turn on motion blur, but I can’t think of anything else I can do to correct this. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Sean Kimber

Search the COW for “judder”. 🙂

No way around this. You need to create a visual distraction by adding motionblur, moving the image also in Y direction or have a fancy background. The jitter is a result of the human eye’s way of seeing combined with the low playback frequency of standard video formats.
