Ok so i am working on an intro for a football highlight video i was asked to do. I capture the clips from mini dv in final cut pro. I import the clips into motion and use them in my intro. Everything looks great no jitters or anything. WHen i am done i export my project to compressor and render it as a mpeg2 high quality encode. I then print to tape and burn a dvd. Still no jitters and everythign looks beautiful in FCP and Motion. When I watch teh dvd there are jitters in teh video clips in certain spots. I went back to motion and cahnged the field dominance from upper to lower. most of the jitters went away but are in different spots on different clips. Any suggestions?

Are you watching the DVD in a software player or a set-top box on a TV?

What sort of movement and horizontal lines are in the frames that jitter?

i am watching the dvd on a standard dvd player that hooks up to your tv. The clips are very fast paced football clips. Kids running and tackling.
