    Jigsaw Puzzle

    I need some help with mapping. I’ve looked at Serge Hamad’s excellent dvd several times and I still can’t get this to work out.

    I created a a puzzle of four pieces in illustrator and separated them into four separate pieces and imported them into Invigorator Pro. Ok so far.

    Then I imported a picture into a 720×480 PAR 1.2 widescreen comp and sized it to fit the comp window.
    Then I pasted the paths from illustrator onto the picture and made four copies of the layer.
    Then I deleted three different paths from each of the layers so I had outlines of each of the pieces.
    I then precoomposed the layers.
    Then using Serge’s technique I used the precomp as a map and applied it to the front face of the piece in Invigorator.
    Unfortunately, the map is too small. I ‘m not sure how to enlarge the map to exactly fit the front part of the puzzle.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi John,

    Basically, you should create different layer map compositions at the same aspect ratio then EACH puzzle piece.

    Thanks for showing me how to do the jigsaw project. I’ll post the final result here. I didn’t realize how powerful a piece of software Invigorator is especially combined with Illustrator.

    Like everything else, it’s all about learning to use it.
