Jiggling, Wobbling, Roobarb & Custard style text
I have a client who wants me to recreate the jiggling, wobbling, cartoon style of Roobarb and custard for the captions in their latest commercial.

So far I’ve been playing with the jitter effect on path text and I’m getting pretty close but the client is being pedantic and REALLY wants the same hand-drawn, amateurish style without it actually being hand-drawn and amateurish.
Does anyone have any hints, guides, tips, tutorials that could help?

Have you tried roughen edges ?
If you up the scale, you can get it to softly jiggle the depth of the stroke around your text, combined with the right font, and a bit of position/scale jiggle (path text or tex-abimators) and you’re halfway there. -
