I’m not getting smoothe playback with clips to which I’ve applaied a speed change (50%). They apparently play back OK on the computer monitor but when I see them on my external monitor they look choppy. My machine specs are in my tag line. Source material is all digiBeta PAL. Seq settings 10 bit uncompressed. I’ve tried changing the video processing setting within the sequence settings to all 3 choices (Best, fastest, normal) and that doesn’t seem to be helping…. what am I doing wrong?
    Thanks!

What I ended up doing is applying a deinterlace filter on the clip in question and that seemed to help quite a bit. It’s located in the FCP effects folder “video”. I’ve seen other software reccommended for slo-mo, but since applying that filter seemed to clear up the issue I didn’t pursue the extra expense route.
    Hope this helps,
    Kim
