Jerky scrolling credits

you’ll want to slow down the credit roll… roughly by a factor of 3 (since 75 fps looks good).

that means if your credit roll takes 1 minute, it will need to take 3.

nope… it sounds like the issue is how fast they are scrolling.

if time is fixed, then the only option is to try making the credits shorter (reducing the vertical length/height) so they can scroll slower over the fixed duration.

try reducing the font size and line spacing to decrease the vertical hight of the roll. possibly try a font with a lower profile (i.e., extended font).

if you have lowercase letters, you can usually decrease space needed between lines by using only uppercase.

possibly use more columns for names. anything to shorten up the credit roll height.

or ditch the scroll and do them in pages, transitioning quickly from one page to the next.

That last option is usually my first preference, in fact. I rarely use a roll anymore.
