    Hi,

I’ve just installed a Kona LH into my 2.5Ghz G5.
It seems like a nice bit of kit but I’m experiencing a few teething problems.
I am running Studio 2 and upgraded the Kona software to 4.0
My project is DV PAL. I captured most of my clips through firewire and some – Beta stuff through the Kona at 8bit uncompressed and some Kona DV. They dont seem to like mixing – some very fieldy looking slow mo.

But my Main Problem is that when I resize a 4×3 clip to 16×9 (distort 33.33) and stretch to fill screen – the play back is stuttery. Even when I force a render. I am running the video of a 1Tb G-Raid, so plenty fast enough.

    All suggestions most welcome.

Have you searched posts for dropped frames or dropping frames? You will find long lists of things to check, starting with the “fit to window” display in the Viewer.
