Jerky Frame dropping when pan and tilt
Hi All
Im needing a little help and I will try to explain myself as best I can.
So I have several bits of footage from a wedding that get choppy/jerky when ever I move the camera significantly, for instance when tilting slowly up the wedding cake and also when zooming in on a jpeg. its like its skipping a frame and makes everything look jerky.I can see it in vegas but at the time thought it was just the preview lagging a little, but it has also come out in the render. I tried moveing the original copy from my old drive to my system ssd drive but this didnt help.
The footage is AVCHD 1080/25psystem spec is
i1-4770K @3.5ghz
16 gb ramRadion 6850 hd
Any ideas guys

Some cameras do not perform well when doing things like panning. Try panning verrryy slowly and see if that reduces the problem.

Is your camera’s sensor a CMOS sensor? Except for the expensive cameras you usually have to pan slowly with modern lower-end CMOS equipped cameras. On my sub-$2000 Sony AVCHD camera I obtain below-quality video on fast moving subjects or quick pans.
