The montage i’m making in vegas5 with the pan and crop tool. I’ve noticed jerks when zooming in and out. I’ve right clicked on the first keyframe and the last keyframe of each picture and chosen smooth buts its still jerky… Will this smooth out when it’s rendered?
Also some of the pictures that I want to see the whole picture ends up with white and black border on each side. I didn’t want to crop some of the picture off. Is there something i can do to make it look better with the white and black side borders? Thanks Gary

[Gary & yvonne] “Will this smooth out when it’s rendered?”

Do a quick RAM render (Shift/B) of that section and find out.

The black is really transparent. If you put something on the track below, it will show through.

As GK said, it’s likely just a preview issue. Render will be fine.

If you can’t see the whole pic, just zoom out. Obviously you’ll have borders on some pics – especially the vertical ones – but you can add a background to a lower track. And add a drop shadow using track motion.
