Japanese characters
Hi masters! I’m working on a project that requires Japanese writings.
I’m trying to create text splines and write in Japanese but no luck. If I copy a text and paste it doesn’t work. Is there a way around to fix that? Or will I have to take the project to a compositing software?
I have to deliver it on Friday and am really puzzled with this thing. Any help will be much appreciated!

Make them splines in illustrator. Then import them.

Thanx for the light speed response man, but I found out what was wrong. Although I could write in Japanese in the text box I found that in the windows font box there was no Japanese characters font in there…weird, so how can I write then I thought. But downloaded japanese fonts on the net,installed them and it works now.
I guess the japanese writing mode we install from windows has nothing to do with the fonts directory. Good to know now.
