Rob D’Amico, Chief Audio Editor at PostMaster Studios, is a sound designer, audio editor and musician. Rob has worked on film, video and television projects nationally and in the New England area. Rob will discuss audio editing, sound design and mixing for clients unable to make the trip to his studio in Ayer, MA.8:00pm – 9:00 pm | The Avid/Pro Tools interface: A User’s Perspective
John McKay will discuss the new workflows and changing technologies using real-world case studies from the 30 second spot to the 2.5 hour feature film. Example case studies include: Lord of The Rings, South Park, and various commercial productions. John McKay is the CEO and Founder of the audio editing software company, Virtual Katy. John has had a wide and varied career in feature films and television as a film editor, assistant director and sound designer. He has been managing postproduction audio teams producing soundtracks to tight and demanding deadlines for over 20 years.
