Does anyone know if there is any way to TC Sync and HPX2000 or even an HPX500 with an HVX200? I’m new to these cameras and it appears to me that HVX can only do it over firewire but the HPX cameras have traditional BNC connections for timecode and genlock. Ideally, I am trying to find a way to do this WITHOUT an external timecode generator, but I realize that may be the only way. If there is ANY way to do this, please let me know!

    Thanks

The HPX500 can be gen-locked and jam inputed timecode. It can also send timecode that another recorder can jam. All the units need to be fed sync so the timecode locks. I don’t think the HVX200 has timecode and sync I/Os. I think they can only be synced using firewire.
