Jaggies? How To Get Rid Of?
I have setup an animation in ProAntimator (NTSC DN 720×480, Upper field first, and Antialias set at 3×3) When I render the movie out I have tried uncompressed and animation. I’m semi-new to this but I know enough to match up all my setting in ProAnimator and AE so when I import it there’s no issues. I then import my rendered file into AE. I have a background behind it, and I’m sure that’s not the issue. My problem is that when I render the AE file, my background looks good but the import PA movie looks “jaggy”, or “low rez” kind of look.
Am I missing something? If I set my antialias to a higher number (like 5×5 per the instruction manual PDF) the animation looks real soft in PA. Will that be less noticable coming out of AE?
I see all the awesome examples on the Zaxwerks website, but I just can’t get there. By the way, my final product will be a DVD.
Any help would be highly appreciated!
